Before any actual testing is done a test plan must be submitted and approved by the governing body, an 

acceptable test site must be found and the test aircraft must be conformed. Also all the aircraft, acoustic and 

weather instrumentation must be calibrated.

• Conformed Flight Test Aircraft

• Approved Instrumentation:

  • Sound

  • Aircraft Engine Data, Air Data, Position (X, Y, Z, T)

  • Atmospheric Conditions

  • Laboratory Calibrated traceable to NIST (USA)

    • Sound instrumentation field calibrated twice daily

• Test Day Weather Within Limits
